A legal review of your project, with every risk ranked and sourced.

Claude Code skill

Most small projects launch without a lawyer ever looking at them. The risks hide where nobody reads: a tracker that loads before consent, a package licence, an API's rule on scraping, a brand guideline. This skill reads the code and the current rules side by side, so you know what to fix and what to take to a lawyer.

What it does

  • Lists what personal data the project collects and from whom, and every outside service, package, font and image it uses, each with its file and line.
  • Works out which countries the project is aimed at, from its languages, prices and text, and asks you to confirm, so it reviews only the laws that reach you.
  • Sends helper agents through five areas at once: privacy, the terms of each outside service, licences, consumer and content rules, and AI and sector rules.
  • Reads each service's current terms live and quotes the clause that matters, with a link and the date it was read.
  • Writes legal-review.md with every finding ranked High, Medium or Low, what is done well, steps for you and what it could not check, and shows it as a page.
  • Offers fixes such as a privacy page draft, consent before tracking or a notices file, and changes files only when you pick them.

How it's built

  • It is not legal advice and never says a project is legal or compliant. It says what it checked, what it found and what it could not check.
  • Every finding cites a file and line or a source it actually read. A finding it cannot back up is dropped.
  • It reads the names of env variables, never their values, and never copies people's data into the report.
  • Run it again later and it opens with what was fixed, what is new, and which terms changed.
