Claude Code skill

Before you build something, it helps to know who already sells to the same people, what they charge and what their customers complain about. This skill does that research the way a careful analyst would, and ends with advice you can act on.

What it does

  • Confirms the idea in one line, from the project's README or a few questions, and asks for Quick (about 15 minutes, 5 competitors) or Full (45 to 60 minutes, 10 or more).
  • Sends helper agents to research the competitors, one each, at most five at a time.
  • Reads ad libraries and Google Trends in your browser, only after you say yes, and only to look.
  • Watches the longest running video ads when the watch skill is installed.
  • Groups every bad review by what went wrong, finds the gaps nobody fills, and turns competitors' weak spots into selling points and video hooks.
  • In Full depth, finds where the same idea already works abroad.
  • With REA installed, offers a look inside one competitor feature, from what its public website shows or from an app you are allowed to examine.
  • Writes a market-study.md report and one file per competitor, and updates them on the next run.

How it's built

  • Every fact carries where it came from, and a tag that says whether it is the competitor's own claim, something seen on a page, or our own estimate. An unknown number stays unknown.
  • It never signs in, posts or pays. A look through your browser needs a yes for that run only.
  • A hook that names a competitor is flagged, since ad rules differ by country and platform.
